I'm user of linux, and I need a tool to create one image 3d (airplane, moutains, roads)... wahts is the best tool and free?!! in windows there are World Builder, Lightwave 6 ...

For 3d terrian stuff there is terragen and for 3d modeling there is wings3d, blender, K3d, Art of illusion, Misfit Model 3D, SharpConstruct and a slew of others to try. I personnally use wings3d and blender. to see most of linux or open source 3d apps go to http://sourceforge.net/softwaremap/trove_list.php?form_cat=109 Ultimately it depends on your personal workflow and tastes. Many people get turned off by blender because too many buttons and hard to learn.
