Hey Guys,
I'd like to help out in WorldForge, it sounds a really cool project. I've looked at it in the past, but never had the coding ability to help out but I do now.
Having looked at the website I find myself very interested in the BrokerWorld Server, or Venus which I assume is its replacement.
Would it be worthwhile if I were to develop one of these servers further?

I have been around a while and while I still don't have the coding ability to help
I have never heard anyone talking about BrokerWorld or Venus, The current sever is Cyphesis while Indri is the one that will eventually replace it.
It would be very worthwhile to develop these servers Talk to people on the irc. especially Alriddoch. -
Brokerworld is I think a fairly long obsolete project.
venus is a suspended concept for the moment.
If you are interested in working on servers, I strongly suggest checking out cyphesis-C++. If you follow the <a href="http://worldforge.org/doc/getting_started">Getting Started</a> guide on the main website, that will get you some of the way to being able to do cool things with servers. Feel free to contact me on irc or email for information on how to do things. There is lots that can be done with minimal coding ability, and I am sure you will learn fast.
