Problem compiling Eris 1.3.18 on Chakra GNU/Linux (Arch Linux-like)
  • I'm getting this:

    ../Eris/.libs/liberis-1.3.so: undefined reference to `Mercator::ShapeTerrainMod::ShapeTerrainMod(WFMath::Polygon<2> const&)'

    The only related thing I found out there was this IRC log from January with no answer:

  • What version of Mercator are you using?
  • 0.3.0. Should I use a previous version? oO
  • No, that's correct. Make sure that you don't have any older version installed though.
    Are you compiling from the numbered releases, or from git (using Hammer for example)?
  • I'm compiling from numbered releases. Since I'm always working with packages, I'm almost sure there is no older mercator version installed, else I would not be able to install newest.
  • Sorry about this error, it was fixed in git shortly after 0.3.0 was released. There are a number of compiler fixes in git now, so I guess we are due another round of releases.
  • Really glad you fixed it. Will package a git snapshot then until next release. Thanks a lot!
  • No problem.
