Where do I start? (getting started links are down :P)

hello, Iv been trying to figure this out for a while now, What exactly do i need to download for windows to use world forge? theres a huge list of files, and the getting started guide seems out dated as a few of the links are broken. Im sorry if someone else made a topic about this...

Ya the main site needs some updating, basically alot of the development information is moved over to the Wiki now to make it easier to update and the main site is a good source to read up on the original concepts, and get overviews of different aspects.
You can find the wiki at http://wiki.worldforge.org/wiki/Main_Page or on the left side menu near the bottom. You will want to check out the Quick Start Guide. The wiki is alot more up to date but still needs some work in places, if you run into any big problems feel free to drop in to IRC and ask questions, just be prepared to wait a bit as we all idle there as we work, and then respond when we notice someone is talking.

Unfourtunatly Ember has not been built recently for windows (asuming you are talking about the client) Erik and I are currently working on a more up to date windows build that should be released soon after we have ironed out a few problems.
