I noticed that the Linux version of the Ember client is at version 0.5.4, And the windows version is still 0.5.3. I can only assume that others have had the same problems compiling the libs that I have had.
One library named libcurl, isnt even available for download from the maintainers at http://curl.haxx.se/download.html. I havent been able to access their website to download the library.
I am trying to compile a Windows version of Ember, And possibly smooth out some of the library errors that are common to it. But at this point I dont have all the required libraries.
Does anyone have this missing data, that could share it with me? Or is it available to download somewhere else?
Also I would like any information that is known, About which versions of the libraries have proven to be the most compatible together.
Note though that some of the dependent WF libraries needs to be updated to newer versions if you want to build 0.5.4. If you want to build from trunk (and the upcoming 0.5.5 release) you also need to update Ogre to 1.6.
No I didnt find those listed, Thanks for linking that page. I hope to be able to get this all running more smoothly in windows than it does, At least thats the dream.
If I can catch up to you guys a little, in what you know about windows compiling, maybe I can write a script that will make any changes needed before compiling. Come to think of it, didnt i read somewhere about a script thats already written, or was that just for linux?
Anyway i'm having fun learning all this new code, And becoming familiar with ubuntu at the same time.
